
Americans Makowski Named to All-ECHL First Team

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, are proud to announce that defenseman David Makowski, has been named to the All-ECHL First Team.
David Makowski, currently on AHL call-up with the San Jose Barracuda, is having his best offensive season with the Americans with 53 points and that's good for third overall on the team. He's second overall among all defenseman in points. He's third overall in the ECHL power play assists with 19 and leads the Americans in plus/minus with a +23.
"It's a great honor to be selected to the All-ECHL First Team," said Makowski. "I couldn't have done it without my teammates and coaching staff. Playing in Allen has given me a chance to play at the next level and as a player you appreciate that opportunity."
Below is the complete list of ECHL First and Second Team members. Makowski was the Americans lone All Star representative this season in Indianapolis.
