Playoff Roster, Possible Schedules Announced

Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA - Possible schedules for the Mudbugs' Northern Conference Semi-Final series and the team's 2008 playoff roster have now been released with Bossier-Shreveport set to start its playoff run this weekend.
Scenarios for both potential opponents have now been set up, but either way, the Bugs will start the playoffs this weekend at CenturyTel Center . If the Northern Conference opening round playoff series between Mississippi and Texas ends in a two-game sweep, the Mudbugs will play game one on Friday night and game two on Sunday against the winner. If the RiverKings and Brahmas go to a third game in the best-of-three series, Bossier-Shreveport will take on the victor in game one on Sunday and game two on Monday. The Mudbugs have also submitted their 2008 playoff roster to the Central Hockey League office. With no injured reserve list in the playoffs and only 19 roster spots available, a few of the Mudbugs with recent injury troubles could not be included as active players for the playoffs.
