Playoff Match-Up Between Roughnecks & Amarillo to be Nationally Televised

MIDLAND, TX. : The West Texas Roughnecks will begin their post-season run on the road against the Amarillo Venom on Monday, June 28. In historic fashion, the Venom will host the Roughnecks in the first ever nationally broadcasted first round IFL playoff game with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The game will be shown live on the America One Television Network as well as online at B2 Networks.

Additionally, My TV 16, the sister station of CBS 7 in Midland/Odessa, will present the nationally televised game locally to all viewers within the Permian Basin. There will be a special half-hour Roughnecks pre-game show beginning at 6:30 p.m. on My TV 16, which will lead up to kickoff of the first round playoff match-up between the Roughnecks and Amarillo. The pre-game show will feature an inside look on the playoff game and interviews with Roughnecks players, and Head Coach Chris Williams.

"We are excited about the opportunity to be on a nationally televised stage. This is an historic situation for the Roughnecks and the Amarillo Venom, and we are also thankful for My TV 16 to present the game to the Permian Basin community." stated West Texas Roughnecks Team Owner Dale Morris.
