Roughnecks Win and In
July 3, 2012 - Lone Star Football League (LSFL)
West Texas Roughnecks News Release
The Roughnecks will travel to Amarillo this Saturday to keep their playoff hopes alive. West Texas wins and they are in, if not a lot of things could happen including dropping to dead last. The Lone Star Football League's inaugural season has been a very close competition all season long and this week is no different. Amarillo and Laredo are the only two teams that have clinched a spot, and those teams won't know what spot that is until after this weekends' games. "The competition is high in the League and these close records and games are what set us apart as a League from all the other Arena and Indoor League's around the country not just the fact we are a Texas only League", exclaimed Dale Morris Owner and GM. The Roughnecks stingy defense will look to shut down Nate Davis Quarterback for the Venom as he is coming off of a 400 yd 8 Touchdown win this past weekend. The Roughnecks have made playoffs every season since the Morris family took over ownership and the team overall has only missed playoffs once. "We will win this game as we are going ALL OUT ALL GAME ALL SEASON", boasted Morris.
