
Amarillo to Host West Texas on National Stage

Richmond, VA: History will once again be made in the Indoor Football League (IFL). The Amarillo Venom will host the West Texas Roughnecks in the first ever nationally broadcasted first round IFL playoff game on Monday June 28th at 7PM.
Amarillo Owner Randy Sanders is excited to host such a historic game. "[The playoffs are] like a new season starting again, we are geared up for this game," says Sanders. "You cannot take for granted what you did in the past". Sanders adds, "I'm looking forward to hosting a game where we play a great team with great ownership".
West Texas owner Dale Morris also anticipates the playoffs as a fresh start. "We finally have our team playing as one unit, this game will be our big chance, our big opportunity," says Morris. The importance of playing in a league first is not lost on Morris. "This is a piece of history; we get to play in a historic first on national TV and global broadband for the IFL".
With anticipation high for the game, Commissioner Tommy Benizio shares in expectations set by the two team owners. "This will be a phenomenal moment for the IFL, the great city of Amarillo, and football fans across the US. I and the entire league look forward to presenting this first round game to the One World Sports national audience and for no charge online to football fans globally," states the Commissioner.
