Pitton Returns to Beast

BRAMPTON, ONTARIO - The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, announce today that goaltender Bryan Pitton has been released from his Professional Tryout Contract (PTO) with the Beast's American Hockey League affiliate, the St. John's IceCaps and will return to the Beast.

Pitton, 28, appeared in one game with the IceCaps and allowed four goals and recorded two penalty minutes in a 5-2 loss to the Albany Devils on Saturday, October 15.

Prior to this stint in the American Hockey league, Pitton had appeared in 16 AHL games with the Oklahoma City Barons and Springfield Falcons.

He has yet to appear in a game for the Beast this season.
