
Pitcher Gonzalez Promoted to Dunedin

LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Eastern Division-leading Lansing Lugnuts have promoted pitcher Alonzo Gonzalez to A-Advanced Dunedin, with pitcher Colton Turner activated from the 7-day Disabled List in a corresponding move.
Gonzalez, 23, was 1-0 with one save and a 3.09 ERA in three relief appearances for the Lugnuts, striking out 17 batters while allowing a mere .186 average in 11 2/3 innings. This will be the Santa Monica native's first appearance at the A-Advanced level.
The updated Lugnuts official roster is attached, comprising 25 active players and five players on the Disabled List.
