
Pistons reassign guard Will Blalock to Skyforce

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Detroit Pistons announced today that they have reassigned guard Will Blalock to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Blalock averaged 7.0 points, 8.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 26.5 minutes in four games with the Skyforce in his previous assignment (2/27 - 3/4) and was recalled on 3/9.
Drafted 60th by the Pistons in the 2006 NBA Draft, Blalock appeared in 13 games with the Pistons this season averaging 1.8 points, 1.0 rebound and 1.3 assists in 12.5 minutes per game. He scored a season-high five points in 18 minutes at Philadelphia (1/9).
Since the assignment system began for the 2005-06 season, 47 players have been assigned 75 times to D-League teams.
