Pirates Assign Louis Domingue to Gwinnett

Portland, Maine - Phoenix Coyotes Assistant General Manager and Portland Pirates General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Pirates have assigned goaltender Louis Domingue from the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL.

The 6-foot-3, 200 pound Domingue appeared in 2 games with the Pirates during his call up, recording his first career win in his first career start against Providence on February 26th. In 100 AHL minutes with the Pirates, Domingue had a 1-0-0-0 record with a 2.40 Goals Against Average and a .931 Save Percentage

In 26 games with Gwinnett this season, Domingue has posted a record of 15-8-1-1 with 2 shutouts, a 2.86 Goals Against Average and a .898 save percentage.

The 20-year-old native of Mont St-Hilaire, Quebec was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in round 5 (#138 overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft
