
Pink the Rink Returns Friday, October 3

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips), are scheduled to host the tenth annual "Pink The Rink" game presented by Safeway Foundation, in association with Providence Regional Medical Center this Friday, Oct. 5 against the Seattle Thunderbirds, starting at 7:35PM (1520 AM KKXA/WHL Live) at AOTW Arena.
Every ticket purchased will include an up to $7 donation to the Pink the Rink Fund, benefiting Providence General Foundation in support of breast health activities, mammograms for women, and services and support for men's and women's health in Snohomish County, for those facing financial challenges. Over the last eight seasons the Silvertips have helped raise over $648,000 from the Pink The Rink event, providing approximately 5,000 free mammograms for women in Snohomish County.
There will be several opportunities for fans in attendance to make a contribution at this season's event, along with the following activities:
Tickets: on sale as low as $17, with proceeds automatically forwarded to Providence
Special Ticket + Shirt offer: priced at $25, fans receive an upper level game ticket to Pink the Rink along with a limited edition Pink the Rink t-shirt, free.
Signed, game worn jersey auction: right off the back of every Silvertips player on the active roster, proceeds benefit Providence and offer an exclusive "Buy It Now" opportunity before each jersey is offered at a silent auction event on Oct. 5. Each jersey subject to availability. Fans in attendance, who successfully bid and win their respective game jersey, will have an opportunity to pose with their selected player and jersey after the game.
Pre-game: special guest breast cancer survivors will join the Silvertips along the ice for starting lineup introductions.
