We'll have Winterhawks players fanning out to multiple Toyota dealerships where they will play street hockey with kids, sign autographs, and take photos with fans. The event will also serve as a kickoff to the Toyota Hockey Family of the Year contest.
The Toyota Hockey Family of the Year contest will give families, regardless of their affinity to the sport of hockey, a chance to win the Grand Prize, a NEW 2019 Toyota RAV-4 with an MSRP of approximately $36,000. Entries will be collected in-person at the event on the 13th, followed by an online entry period which will begin Sunday, October 14th on Winterhawks.com, and continue through Sunday, November 18th. The Winterhawks will select 13 Finalist Families for the Toyota Hockey Family of the Year from among the entries, fans will then be able to vote for the family they think should win.The winning family will be announced at the Toyota New Year's Eve Game against Seattle.
In addition, all families that enter onsite at a Toyota dealership October 13th, regardless of whether they are chosen as a Finalist Family, will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a Moda Center Winterhawks Suite Night OR a night in the Toyota Corner in Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
