
Pietrangelo To Captain All-Star Team

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today that defenceman Alex Pietrangelo has been named Captain of the Eastern Conference All-Star Team.
Pietrangelo is one of five Barrie Colts that will be heading to Kingston this week to compete in the 2010 OHL All-Star Classic.
The 6'4" King City native is playing in his third consecutive All-Star Game, and has two goals and seven assists in nine games played since joining the Barrie Colts.
Pietrangelo will be joined by defenceman Nick Crawford, who is second in the league in scoring for defenceman. Matt Kennedy scored his first goal in a Barrie jersey on Saturday night and will be joined by forwards Stefan Della Rovere and Alex Hutchings.
The Colts and Windsor Spitfires each have five players represented at the 2010 All-Star Classic, tied for most in the OHL.
The Skills Competition will get under way Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., with the game to be played on Wednesday, February 3rd at 7:00 p.m.
