2008 World Series Champion and six-time National League All-Star 2B Chase Utley will join the Reading Fightin Phils for the first two games of their series with the Thunder on Tuesday August 4 and Wednesday August 5 at ARM & HAMMER Park.

Utley, who began his rehab assignment with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday afternoon, is batting .179 with four home runs and 25 RBI this season for the Phillies. In 2014, Utley batted .270 with 11 home runs and 78 RBI and led all NL second basemen in doubles (36), RBI (77) and walks (53).

The 36-year-old is one of the most accomplished players in Philadelphia Phillies history in regular and postseason play. In 2009, Utley hit five home runs in the World Series against the New York Yankees; tying the record set by Reggie Jackson in 1977.

Utley is expected to rehab on Tuesday night when the first 1,000 fans, age six and up, will receive Floor and Decor Handclappers. Tuesday is also Dollar Dog night, presented by Black Bear Franks, and Kids Eat Free. Wednesday the first 2,000 fans, age 14 and up, will receive Dellin Betances Bobblehead Dolls, presented by Hyundai.
