Montreal, January 8th, 2009 - The Montréal Junior traded to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles their 5th round pick of the 2010 entry draft in return of Philippe Fontaine, 17. The 5'11'' and 169 lbs forward from Québec entered the QMJHL in 2007.

With a strong core of young, talented players, the Montreal Juniors benefit from a group of dedicated coaches with Pascal Vincent as their leader for their first season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Angelo Esposito, Matt Fillier, Jake Allen, Guillaume Asselin and their teammates are on their way to an amazing 2008-2009 Season... and playoffs! Renovated for the team, the Verdun Auditorium hosts the local games where excitement, passion and energy meet!
