Philadelphia Union News Release
CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has partnered with the Marsh Creek 6th Grade Center for the "Agent of Change" program. The program is aimed at supporting local urban youth soccer programs in Chester.
Alongside students from the Marsh Creek 6th Grade Center, which is part of the Downingtown Area School District, the Union will support the initiative in a variety of ways, including:
1. DOOP donation boxes placed around the community to collect new and slightly used soccer equipment for donation to local programs
2. Sponsoring local urban youth soccer players to attend the Union's match on April 13, plus a pregame clinic, alongside Marsh Creek students
All DOOP donations collected will benefit the youth players of Chester-Upland Youth Soccer. Approximately 55 students from the Marsh Creek 6th Grade Center are slated to assist the Union in collecting donations and supporting the community.
