CHESTER, Pa. - The Philadelphia Union played Alianza F.C. in the first-leg of the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 match on Tuesday evening at Cuscatlán Stadium, battling to a 0-0 draw. The Union outshot Alianza F.C. eight to seven, but could not find the back of the net. Goalkeeper Andre Blake made two key saves to keep the clean sheet on the road. The second-leg of the Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 will be played on Tuesday, March 14, when the Union will host Alianza F.C. at Subaru Park.
The Union return to MLS play on Saturday, March 11, where they will face Chicago Fire FC at Subaru Park (7:30 p.m. ET / Apple TV).
