Sporting Kansas City News Release
Sporting Kansas City and UMB announce that the UMB Field Club at Children's Mercy Park underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation during the offseason and is set to welcome fans during its home opener Saturday, March 11.
"The newly upgraded UMB Field Club will offer guests an unprecedented live event experience at Children's Mercy Park," Sporting KC President & CEO Jake Reid said. "With first-class amenities and service, a cutting-edge design and unique spaces that connect supporters to Sporting players, this is one of the premier luxury areas in professional sports and immerses fans in the matchday action."
With the extensive refresh and renovation, the UMB Field Club is the newest premium sports space in the region. Complete with a comprehensive design overhaul throughout the area, the UMB Field Club contains a new hospitality buffet and bar, brand new furniture and signage as well as enhanced access to watch the team's postgame press conferences.
The UMB Field Club is also Sporting KC's most unique and exclusive premium space and is where Sporting KC players enter and exit the field. Postgame, the players spend time socializing and mingling with their families and fans, providing guests with unprecedented access to the team.
"The state-of-the-art renovations inside the UMB Field Club mark the next major step of a proud partnership that dates back to 2013," Sporting KC Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Jon Moses said. "Both of our organizations have made tremendous investments in our community, aiming to provide elite service to guests, clients and other stakeholders. We look forward to further collaborations with UMB well into the future."
UMB has been a First Team partner of Sporting KC since 2013 and agreed to an eight-year extension in 2021.
"We are thrilled to build on our Sporting KC partnership with a newly renovated Field Club for the 2023 season," says Jim Rine, UMB Bank, president and CEO. " We know that our customers, fans and families will be out in full force at games this year to support this great Kansas City team, and we're proud to help offer a premium and unique sports experience."
