
Pheasants Can't Catch up to Explorers in Exhibition

HURON, S.D. - The Sioux Falls Pheasants could not overcome a four-run first inning by the Sioux City Explorers on Friday night and fell 4-3 in exhibition play at Memorial Stadium in Huron. Sioux Falls put its first runs on the board in the sixth inning to slice the deficit to 4-2, and the Pheasants scored their final run in the seventh inning.
The contest was the final spring training game for the Pheasants. They host the Explorers on Opening Night, 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, May 17 at Sioux Falls Stadium to start of a four-game series with their I-29 rivals.
