SIOUX FALLS - The Sioux Falls Pheasants scored early and often Friday night in a 12-3 thumping of the St. Paul Saints before 2,646 fans at Sioux Falls Stadium. The first-place Pheasants increased their record to 23-10.

Beau Torbert set the tone with a two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning that struck the façade of the right-center field scoreboard.
