Phantoms to Host Chicago Steel at UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex

YOUNGSTOWN, OH- The Youngstown Phantoms will host the Chicago Steel in a special off-site game on Saturday, October 10, at the new UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry, Pennsylvania. The contest will be part of the USHL regular season schedule, and will count as one of the Phantoms home games for the 2015-16 campaign.

The UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is the new practice facility of the Pittsburgh Penguins, and features state-of-the-art medical facilities and performance training technology, as well as two hockey rinks with capacity for more than 1,000 fans. This game offers the Phantoms a unique opportunity to continue gaining exposure in the Western Pennsylvania area, as well as give their players a chance to experience one of the premier hockey training facilities in the entire world. The UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is just a short 45-minute drive from the Covelli Centre in Youngstown.

Any Phantoms season ticket holder who has questions related to the October 10 game at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is encouraged to contact the Phantoms ticket office at (330) 747-PUCK.

The Phantoms will also visit the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex on September 18

& 19, as the USHL will host a four-team preseason showcase in Cranberry, the first major hockey event at the Penguins new facility. Tickets are now available for the Pittsburgh Showcase Event by calling (330) 747-PUCK.
