
Gamblers Announce New Hire

The Green Bay Gamblers are happy to announce that Elizaveta Monahkova is joining the staff for the upcoming season. Her role with the team includes promotions, social media and community relations.
Monakhova (mona-coe-va), who hails from Moscow, Russia, played collegiate hockey at Finlandia University and Utica College. She also represented her country on the international level, competing for Russia at various world championships. Monakhova graduated from Finlandia in 2014 with a degree in Business Administration.
Prior to coming to the Gamblers, Monakhova volunteered for the Boston Blades, members of the Canadian Women's Hockey League.
"We are very fortunate to have Liza join our staff," says Gamblers Director of Business & Promotions Jeff Mitchell. "She is a very outgoing young lady and I know the Gambler fans will love her energy and passion for the game of hockey."
The Gambles are hosting the Subway Shootout September 11 - 13 at Brown County Arena. The team will kick off the shootout on Friday night against in-state rival Madison. Game time is 7:05 PM and all tickets are $5 (general admission). On Saturday, the Gamblers play Cedar Rapids at 7:05 PM. All tickets are $5.00 with all ticket sales benefitting the DePere Voyageurs High School Hockey team. Tickets are available at the Resch Center box office beginning on August 31 and at the Brown County Arena day of game.
