
Phantoms Host Health and Wellness Expo

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Phantoms are joining up with several area businesses and media outlets for the Philadelphia Sports Extravaganza and Wellness Expo, which the Phantoms will host at the Wachovia Spectrum this Saturday, October 27th.
The expo is a great way for the whole family down to learn about physical fitness and health. It starts at 10AM and runs until 4PM with different activities and shows for all to enjoy. CBS3 will be on hand to let children participate in their Kidcaster Sports Auditions, Bally's Total Fitness will be giving away free passes during the Expo. Throughout the day, there will be free CPR certification taking place, as well as a Junior World Martial Arts Competition. Also, Vince Papale, the Philadelphia Eagles hero who was the inspiration for the movie Invincible, will be at the Wachovia Spectrum to greet all in attendance.
Admission to the Expo is just $10 and includes a ticket to that night's 7:00 Phantoms game against the Springfield Falcons, a match-up between the top two teams in the American Hockey League. Parking is free for fans who arrive before 3 PM. Also, Phantoms and Flyers season ticket holders receive free admission by sending an RSVP to amacy@comcast-spectacor.com.
The Phantoms return to action on Friday night with a 7:15 start in Norfolk, and then come back home for two home games at the Wachovia Spectrum - Saturday's contest and a 5:05 tilt on Sunday against the Norfolk Admirals.
