Brendan Bell scored his first two goals of the season as visiting San Antonio defeated Iowa by a 4-1 score on Tuesday... Enver Lisin and Ryan Caldwell also scored for the Rampage, and Josh Tordjman made 29 saves... Junior Lessard scored the lone goal for the Stars, who have lost three straight.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Grand Rapids and Hamilton kick off their eight-game season series Wednesday at Copps Coliseum... The Bulldogs were 7-2-0-1 against the Griffins last season... Hamilton's leading scorer this year is center Maxim Lapierre, who enters the contest with seven points (4-3-7) but none in his last three games... Jonathan Ferland has registered a point in two straight games (1-1-2)... The Griffins are looking to snap a two-game losing skid after dropping home contests to Rockford and Quad City last weekend... Brett Engelhardt carries a four-game scoring streak (2-2-4) into tonight's game... Two other players have found the scoresheet in four of the Griffins' five games thus far - Mark Cullen (2-4-6) and Carl Corazzini (2-3-5)... Grand Rapids sports a 3-0-0-0 mark away from Van Andel Arena this season.
Providence travels to Hartford on Wednesday in the teams' first meetings since last spring's Atlantic Division semifinals... The Bruins won six of their nine visits to the Hartford Civic Center last season, including Games 6 and 7 to eliminate the Wolf Pack... Second-year pro Greg Moore has tallied a point in four of Hartford's five games this season (3-2-5), and his five points are tied for the team lead with another second-year pro, Alex Bourret (1-4-5)... Wolf Pack goaltender Miika Wiikman earned his first North American pro win in Sunday's 4-3 shootout victory at Toronto... The 4-1-0-0 Bruins suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday, dropping a 5-3 decision at Worcester... Jeff Hoggan scored two of Providence's three goals in the game and leads the team with six points (3-3-6)... Petteri Nokelainen, a 2004 first-round draft pick, has a point in all four of his games played (2-3-5)... Rookie netminder Tuukka Rask, another former first-rounder (2005), has won three of his first four professional decisions (3-1-0) for the B's.
A West Division battle is on tap as Chicago hosts San Antonio on Wednesday for the first of a two-game series... The Wolves, off to the franchise's best start at 4-0-0-0, own the only remaining perfect record in the Western Conference... Jesse Schultz has a four-game point-scoring streak (3-4-7) to start his Wolves career, including a pair of goals on Sunday against Peoria... Jason Krog has also tallied three goals thus far (3-1-4)... The Rampage, under new head coach Greg Ireland, are off to a 3-1-0-1 start... A trio of skaters have tallied five points each thus far for San Antonio - Brendan Bell (2-3-5), Bill Thomas (2-3-5), and leading goal-scorer Joel Perrault (4-1-5)... The Wolves are 18-4-1 all-time at home against the Rampage, and have not suffered a regulation loss to San Antonio at Allstate Arena since Feb. 4, 2004 (15 wins, 1 tie, 1 OTL).

Jason LaBarbera, a two-time winner of the Aldege "Baz" Bastien Award as the AHL's top goaltender, posted a 17-save shutout for Los Angeles in a 6-0 win over Nashville on Tuesday night... Mike Cammalleri, winner of the 2005 Willie Marshall Award as the AHL's top goal-scorer, notched two goals in that game to extend his NHL-leading total to 10... 2007 Calder Cup champion Mikhail Grabovski scored his first NHL goal in Montreal's 6-1 win over Boston on Monday.
