
Phantoms announce makeup date

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia Phantoms COO Frank Miceli today announced the makeup date for the Sun., Feb 12 postponed game against the Springfield Falcons. The game will be played Wed., March 1 at 7:05 PM at the Wachovia Center.
Travel conditions forced the cancellation of the game, as a fierce winter storm ripped the Eastern Seaboard.
Tickets purchased for the Feb. 12 game will be honored at the game on March 1.
Individual tickets purchased through Ticketmaster may be exchanged at the point of purchase for any remaining Phantoms regular season game. Individual tickets may also be refunded at the Ticketmaster point of purchase. Refunds and exchanges must be done prior to the March 1 game.
The Antero Niittymaki MVP figurines, originally scheduled to be given away on Feb. 12, will now be distributed to the first 4,000 fans to attend the Fri., March 3 game with Philadelphia hosting the Providence Bruins.
The Phantoms next home game is this Friday night at 7:05 PM, as Philadelphia hosts the Chicago Wolves at the Wachovia Center. Friday night's game will be broadcast live on Comcast SportsNet.
