Petes to Host Steelheads for First Home Game of 2019

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes will play their first home game of 2019 on Thursday, January 3 at 7:05pm when they host the Mississauga Steelheads for PMHC Night.

Thursday's game is proudly sponsored by Tim Hortons who will be doing giveaways throughout the evening.

The Petes will welcome members of the Peterborough Minor Hockey Council 'AAA' Petes to Thursday's game to celebrate their players and season. The PMHC will host a fundraising chuck-a-puck and will donate any proceeds to Owen Brady, the 15 year old captain of the Whitby Wildcats Minor Midget AAA team who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

The national anthem will be performed by Ivy Morgan.

Following Thursday's game, the Petes will visit the Kingston Frontenacs on Friday, January 4 at 7:00pm and the Mississauga Steelheads on Sunday, January 6 at 2:00pm.
