
Petes Bounce Back with Victory over Leading Knights

(Peterborough, ON) - The Petes snapped a four game winless streak with a hard fought 3-1 victory over the Western Conference-leading London Knights at the Peterborough Memorial Centre on Thursday night.
London opened scoring but the Petes netted three unanswered goals on route to the win.
Nick Robertson (22) scored on the power play to tie the game before Adam Timleck (20) buried the game winner. Winnipeg Jets prospect Declan Chisholm (4) added an empty net insurance goal.
Arizona Coyotes draftee Liam Kirk recorded two assists, while Ryan Merkley and Chris Paquette each had single helpers.
Rookie goaltender Tye Austin earned his first win on home ice, backstopping his team with 34 saves.
Peterborough trailed 35-33 on the shot clock. The Petes were 1/2 on the power play and 2/3 on the penalty kill.
The Petes visit the Niagara IceDogs on Saturday, February 23 at 7:00pm before returning to action on home ice on Sunday, February 24 at 2:05pm to host the Kingston Frontenacs. Tickets are available through the Baker Tilly Box Office in person, over the phone at (705) 743-3561, and online.
