Peterborough Petes News Release

(Peterborough, ON) - Peterborough Petes General Manager Mike Oke announced Wednesday that the team has re-assigned overage forward Bobby Dow and defenceman Quinn Hanna ahead of Thursday's Home Opener.

Dow played 63 games during the 2017-18 season, recording 12 goals, 12 assists, 24 points, 21 penalty minutes, and a -10 plus/minus rating. He was drafted by the Petes in the 10th round, 189th overall in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.

"As we are restricted to only dressing three overage players, we felt this move was in the best interest of our hockey club," commented Oke. "We'd like to thank Bobby for his contributions during his time in Peterborough, and will work with him to find the best opportunity for him to continue his development."

Hanna, who was originally selected by the Guelph Storm in the 5th round, 94th overall in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection and spent last season playing in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, has been re-assigned to a junior team yet to be determined. He will be available to the team should the need arise.

Tickets for Thursday's Home Opener and all other regular season games are available through the PMC Collins Barrow Box Office in person and over the phone Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5:00pm, and 24 hours a day online.
