Peterson Back From DL

New Britain Rock Cats News Release


New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats, AA affiliate of the American League's Minnesota Twins, announced today that 1B Brock Peterson has been restored to the active roster from the team's Disabled List. The 23-year-old Peterson suffered a shoulder strain in a July 22nd game and was placed on the DL the following day. His return to active status is retroactive to Tuesday, August 7; he saw his first Eastern League game action since returning last night in Erie, PA where he went 2 for 5 with 1 RBI while serving as the Rock Cats' DH.

Prior to the shoulder strain, the 6'2"/220-pound Peterson had appeared in 83 games for the 2007 Rock Cats. In that time, he posted a .276 BA with 11 Home Runs and 45 RBI.
