Peter Dobbin Named Head Athletic Therapist of Ontario's Under 17 Team

Toronto - Team Ontario Director of Operations Rob Kitamura is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Dobbin as the Head Athletic Therapist for Ontario's Under 17 Team.

"I am pleased that Peter has agreed to be Team Ontario's Head Athletic Trainer, stated Director of Operations Rob Kitamura. Peter brings a wealth of knowledge as an Athletic Therapist and I know that everyone associated with the team will benefit from his appointment."

Mr. Dobbin currently works with the Niagara Ice Dogs of the Ontario Hockey League and Baseball Canada's Junior Olympic Team Program as the Head Athletic Therapist and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.

"I am pleased to have been given the opportunity to be involved with the Under 17 team and the Program of Excellence stated Dobbin and I look forward to the upcoming World Hockey Challenge that is being held in Port Alberni British Columbia."

Team Ontario will be participating in the Under 17 World Hockey Challenge being held in Port Alberni, British Columbia from December 29, 2008 until January 4, 2009.

The Ontario Under 17 Program is a component of Hockey Canada's Program of Excellence and is facilitated through the Hockey Development Centre for Ontario on behalf of their 3 Ontario Branches. The program receives financial support from the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion. In total, more than 1500 players will participate at regional Under 17 identification camps throughout Ontario in spring of 2009.
