
Perkins Named NWL's Player of the Day

Rochester, MN - The Northwoods League has named Waterloo Bucks first baseman Cameron Perkins the NWL Player of the Night for his efforts on Thursday, June 30 versus the Wisconsin Woodchucks.
The 6'5'' sophomore from Indianapolis, Indiana was 4-for-5 on the night with three runs scored and two RBIs. Three of Perkinshits went for extra bases as he doubled twice and homered. The Purdue University product is now hitting .313 in 29 games.
The Bucks finish up a three-game homestand versus Wisconsin tonight at 6:35 pm. Waterloo then travels to Green Bay for a two-game set starting on Saturday.
