Beloit Sky Carp News Release

One of the most beautiful sunsets of the year painted the sky yellows, oranges, and purples over ABC Supply Stadium Saturday night. The sunset wasn't the only picturesque thing lighting up the Beloit downtown skyline. Saturday Night Fireworks also lit up the night, and the show was as spectacular as ever!

A packed ABC Supply Stadium was rocking and rolling throughout the evening. Both party decks and the group suites were filled with cheers and laugher all night long. It was a night to remember for new and returning Snappers fans!

Some highlights of the evening included another swarm of Snappy chasers dashing across the field in pursuit of beating Snappy in a race; Madison TV host for NBC 15 Mike "Jocko" Jacques helped throw out some Snappers t-shirts, and the entire stadium helped countdown the world-class fireworks show that ended another fantastic night at ABC Supply Stadium.

The Beloit Snappers fall on a late run from the Peoria Chiefs to drop game five of the series, 5-4. Eury Perez made his High-A debut and pitched five innings with three runs, all unearned, and six strikeouts. Victor Victor Mesa was 2-for-4 with an RBI triple, as the only Snapper with a multi-hit game.

The Snappers are back at ABC Supply Stadium on Sunday against the Peoria Chiefs. For more information on tickets or group outings, call our front office at 608.362.2272 or visit SnappersBaseball.com.
