
Pensacola Blue Wahoos Team up with Cox Sports Television

Cox Sports Television (CST) will air four upcoming Pensacola Blue Wahoos games. Current radio broadcaster for the Wahoos, Tommy Thrall, will anchor the on-air television team.
Thrall has been broadcasting professionally since 2003. In addition to serving at the Wahoos play-by-play broadcaster, during the football season he works as a reporter for WEAR-TV Channel 3 contributing to Prep Football Final and weekend coverage of college football. Tommy also works for the University of West Florida providing play-by-play for their basketball and baseball teams. Before joining the Blue Wahoos in 2012, he spent the previous two seasons as the Media Relations Director and Broadcaster of the St. Louis Cardinals Single-A affiliate, the Quad Cities River Bandits. While in the Quad Cities he also worked on local radio and television stations in the offseason announcing high school and college football, basketball and baseball games.
Also joining the broadcast team will be former LSU pitcher Ronnie Rantz and former Florida Gator Nick Belmonte. Rantz played in Baton Rouge for the legendary Skip Bertman and was on the hill for two national championship teams. Belmonte was selected by Sun Sports as one of the top 100 players in UF history after stealing an SEC record 42 bases in one season.
CST is found locally on Cox channel 319 and HD channel 1319.
