Penguins acquire Rome from Moose

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have acquired defenseman Reagan Rome from the Manitoba Moose for future considerations, it was announced Thursday.

Rome, 25, has appeared in second games with the Moose this season, recording one assist and two penalty minutes. He has also played in 29 games with the Reading Royals (ECHL), notching 11 assists and 109 penalty minutes.

The 6-2, 200 pound native of Nesbitt, Manitoba has recorded five points (0+5) and 27 penalty minutes in 22 career AHL games with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, Manchester Monarchs and Moose.

He has also picked up 100 points (19+81) in 278 ECHL games with Pensacola, Jackson, Cincinnati and Reading.
