Pelicans and Mudcats Series Opener Rained out

ZEBULON, N.C. (MAY 27, 2015) - The Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, had their game with the Carolina Mudcats postponed due to rain on Wednesday. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday, May 28. Both games will be seven-inning contests with the first pitch scheduled for Thursday at 5:00 p.m. ET.

The Pelicans will still start right-hander Jonathan Martinez (2-1, 2.65) while Carolina will oppose with left hander Yean Carlos Gil (0-7, 6.10).

The games can be heard live on 1450 WRNN-AM ESPN Myrtle Beach, on the TuneIn Radio App, and via the MiLB First Pitch App, beginning with the Pregame Show at 4:40 p.m. ET. The games will also air along with live streaming video on MiLB.tv (subscription required) with the Carolina broadcast feed.
