FRISCO, Texas - Pedro Payano provided one of his best starts of the year to help the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, to a 7-3 win over the San Antonio Missions Sunday at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
BIG MOMENTS
* Payano tossed 6 2/3 innings, allowing one run on two hits to pick up the victory. He issued just one walk while striking out five.
* The Riders scored in five of the first seven innings, capping the damage with a three-run seventh inning.
* Luis Yander La O drove in three runs for the Riders, including an important two-out, two-run single in the seventh.

NEWS AND NOTES
* La O (nine games) and Michael O'Neill (eight) each extended their hitting streaks Sunday.
* Sunday's contest was San Antonio's final one at Dr Pepper Ballpark before advancing to Triple-A in 2019. The Riders finished 128-107 all-time against the Missions at home.
