ALLENTOWN, PA -- After enduring a 1 hour, 38-minute rain delay before the start of their three-game series finale, the Pawtucket Red Sox and Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs were interrupted by a second storm cell that forced postponement.

In a matchup of talented right-handers, Pawtucket's Allen Webster and Lehigh Valley's Jonathan Pettibone, the Sox and Iron Pigs completed two scoreless innings. The game will be made up in its entirety on a date to be determined. The PawSox are scheduled to return to Allentown for a three-day set on July 8.

Pawtucket completes its first road trip with a 5-1 record. The Sox are scheduled to stage their home opener Thursday at 7:05 p.m. vs. the Rochester Red Wings.

The first 3,000 fans entering the McCoy Stadium gates will receive a poster commemorating the Sox 2012 Governor's Cup Championship, compliments of OPS Printing and NBC 10. The club will also hold a championship ring ceremony prior to the matchup of lefty Chris Hernandez and Kyle Gibson.

In addition, David Ortiz is expected to join the PawSox to begin an injury rehabilitation assignment.
