
Paul McCallum Earns Player of the Week

(Vancouver) BC Lions veteran kicker Paul McCallum was named Gibson's Finest Special Teams Player of the Week this morning by the Canadian Football League.
Now in his 19th CFL season, McCallum was good on all four field goal attempts versus the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last Thursday in blustery Canad Inns Stadium with winds gusting to 40 km/h. Accounting for 13 of the club's 20 points in the disappointing loss, McCallum also averaged 45.9 yards on nine punts to go along with an average of 63.8 yards on five kickoffs.
