Winnipeg Blue Bombers News Release
WINNIPEG, MB - For the sixth time this season, a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers has been named Player of the Week. Defensive Back Jonathan Hefney is the latest recipient after his week five performance against the BC Lions.
Hefney is a big reason why the Bomber defense is ranked number one in numerous categories this season as he's been all over the field, leading all Blue Bomber defenders with nine tackles last week.
This is the first time Hefney has been named Player of the Week.
