Prince Albert Raiders 4 Regina Pats 1

For the second time in 10 days, the Regina Pats out-shot and out-played the Prince Albert Raiders, and for the second time, Garrett Zemlak stole the show, stopping 41 of 42 Pats shot en route to the 4-1 win. Colten Teubert scored the lone Pats goal, spoiling the shut-out in the third period with a power play marker. Jordan Eberle and Jordan Weal assisted on the goal.

Eberle Climbs the Charts:

Since coming back from Edmonton Oilers training camp, Jordan Eberle has scored in all but one game, and is now 7th in the WHL in scoring with 25 points.

Kets in Net:

18 year old goaltender Damien Ketlo is proving that head coach Curtis Hunt made the right decision by naming him his starter. Ketlo is currently eight in the WHL in save percentage.

Eberle topping the charts:

Jordan Eberle is currently the Pats active leader in goals with 117 for his Pat career. This pushes him into the top 20 all time and in a tie with Clark Gillies (71-74), and is now 3 back of Jeff Friesen (91-95) for 15th on the all-time goal list. Eberle's 229 points pushes him past Jamie Heward (87-91) and is 2 back of Rhett Gordon (92-96).

Solid on the Power Play:

With the likes of Jordan Eberle, Jordan Weal and Brett Leffler, the Regina Pats have the 4th ranked power play in the WHL at 26%; it's been their power play on the road that has been especially good running at a 29% clip, good for third in the WHL.

Defensive Scoring:

3 of the Pats top ten scorers man the Pats blue line with Colten Teubert leading the defencemen in scoring with 13 points with rookie d-man Brandon Davidson 2 points pack of him, while Matt Delahey has 7 points.

Important Stretch:

From October 20th against the Raiders to November 15th in Brandon, 10 of the 12 games for the Pats will come against Eastern Divisional rivals, 5 at home and 5 on the road.

*Jordan Weal has points in 12 of his last 14 games (9g 11a)

*Jordan Eberle has points in 11 of his first12 games (12g 13a)

*Brandon Davidson has assists in 7 of his last 9 games.

*Jordan Eberle is the active Pat career leader in points with 229. He is also the current active Pat career leader in goals (117), assists (112), points (229), game winning goals (24), power play goals (44) and shorthanded markers (10).

*Colten Teubert 2 games away from 220 in his career and is 15 points away from 100.

Sportsman's Dinner is around the corner:

It's not until January 28th, but the Regina Pats Sportsman's Dinner is back this season, in conjunction with another Pats/Warriors alumni weekend. The dinner is on Thursday, January 28th, with tickets available at the Pats office.

Goals for Kids:

With the Pats scoring once this week, the Prairie Mobile Communications "goals for kids" fund is now up to $870. $15 from every goal scored will be donated to the Ranch Ehrlo Outdoor Hockey League, courtesy of Prairie Mobile Communications.

The Regina 3-4-5 Hockey League will send all of their players and coaches (almost 1000 fans) to the game.

Home Depot will have its first installment of their "Around the World" Contest. A pair of fans will have a chance to win a World Junior Hockey Championship Regina package.

This Week:

The blue and white will begin a stretch of 5 of 6 home games on Wednesday night.

-Canadian National Junior team Head Coach; Willie Desjardins brings his Medicine Hat Tigers to town on Wednesday.

-Friday will see the Saskatoon Blades make their 3rd appearance at the Brandt Centre, while it's their fifth overall game already this season. It will be the first time at home that Jordan Eberle will face the Blades.

-After 3 games at the Art Hauser Centre, the Prince Albert Raiders will take on the Pats on Brandt Centre ice for the first time this season. Garrett Zemlak has been phenomenal against the Pats, winning the past two games, stopping 75 of 78 Pats shots.
