CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this weeks action with a 7-11-0-0 record at home, 2-6-0-0 on the road, 2-0 in overtime, 1-0 in shootouts) and in fifth place in the CENTRAL DIVISION

This week the ICE will play a home and home series with the RED DEER REBELS, starting November 6 in RED DEER.

SUBWAY CENTRAL DIVISION CHALLENGE CUP: This year KOOTENAY will be facing off against the rest of the CENTRAL DIVISION for a different kind of trophy

The SUBWAY CENTRAL DIVISION CHALLENGE CUP tallies points from head-to-head meetings in the CENTRAL DIVISION and the team with the most points in those head-to-heads at the end of the regular season will be awarded the SUBWAY CENTRAL DIVISION CHALLENGE CUP

SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS are available in Adult, Senior, Student and Youth packages. Adults are $99.00, Seniors $81.00, Students $81.00 and Youth $57.00.

FAMILY PACKS: The ICE have FAMILY PACKS on sale for Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday home games during the 2009-2010 season excluding Sunday, December 27

FAMILY PACKS are $45.00 and include two adult tickets, two youth or student tickets, a parking voucher, a game program voucher, and two McDonald Happy Meal vouchers

UNUSED SEASON TICKETS: Season Ticket Holders who have unused season tickets can exchange them for any regular season game at a cost of $5.00 per ticket

The unused tickets must have the ticket stub attached in order to be eligibleTickets can be exchanged any time at the KOOTENAY ICE Office and Kootenay Collectibles.

SAFEWAY NIGHT: On Saturday, November 7 when the ICE host RED DEER it will be CANADA SAFEWAY Night...Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to win prizes.

DID YOU KNOW: The ICE are 6-3-0-0 when they score first and 1-8-0-0 when their opponent scores first

BRAYDEN MCNABB is sixth in points by a defenceman in the WHL with 16

MATHEWS recorded his third WHL career shutout on November 1 against SEATTLE saves)

KEVIN KING recorded his 100th point in his WHL career with an assist on October 28 against EVERETT

DUSTIN SYLVESTER has recorded 89 assists in his WHL career

STEELE BOOMER has recorded 41 assists in his WHL career

JOE ANTILLA needs to play in seven more games to reach 150th WHL career games played.

INJURIES: Goaltender NATHAN LIEUWEN will be out of the ICE line up indefinitely with a concussion

Defenseman BRAYDEN MCNABB will be out of the KOOTENAY line up four to six weeks with a knee injury

Defenseman LUKE PAULSEN will be out of the ICE line up two to four weeks with an ankle injury

Forward MATT FRASER will be out of the KOOTENAY line up one to two weeks with a knee injury

Forward CHRISTIAN MAGNUS will be out of the ICE line up week to week with a broken finger

Defenseman CASON MACHACEK and Forward DREW CZERWONKA laceration) will both be out of the ICE line up day to day.

YEAR AGO: After 17 games of the 2008-2009 season the ICE were 8-5-1-3, after 18 games 8-5-2-3 and after 19 games 8-6-2-3.
