Regina Pats News Release

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats wish to announce that forward Brayden Metz has requested to be re-assigned to the Melville Millionaires of the SJHL.

With the Pats this season, Metz has played in 15 games this season with a goal and 5 assists while picking up 9 minutes in penalties. He played 18 games with the Millionaires last season accumulating 15 points.

Regina Pats General Manager, Brent Parker, "Brayden's decision to return to Jr A is disappointing to us but he just felt that his heart was not in it anymore to try to play at the highest level. The sacrifice and commitment to play in the WHL is far greater than at the Jr. A Level and sometimes kids just are not willing to do what is needed. Brayden is a good kid and we wish him all the best."

This now leaves the Pats with 23 players on the roster: 13 forwards, 8 defencemen and 2 goaltenders.

Next Pats action is this Wednesday night as Canadian National Junior team Head Coach; Willie Desjardins brings his Medicine Hat Tigers to town. It's a 7pm puck drop at the Brandt Centre, for tickets, head to www.reginapats.com or call the Ticketmaster box office at 543-7800.
