Lethbridge, Alta. - The Regina Pats play the third game of this four game Alberta road trip tonight against the Lethbridge Hurricanes at 8:00 p.m. CST inside the Enmax Centre.

The Regina Pats are coming off a 6-5 shootout victory over the Calgary Hitmen last night for the clubs first victory in Calgary since 2018, snapping a seven game road losing-streak against the Hitmen. The Pats overcame yet another two goal deficit just like we saw on Tuesday in Red Deer as the Pats trailed 3-1 after two against the Hitmen.

Braxton Whitehead scored twice, both of them coming to tie game with his second doing so with 33 seconds to play. In the shootout, Drew Sim stopped all three Calgary shooters and Connor Bedard scored for Regina, snapping the Pats two game skid. The club has now recorded three of a possible four points over the course of this road trip with two more games to go.

Also on Wednesday, Connor Bedard (1G-1A), Alexander Suzdalev (1G-1A) and Sam Oremba tallied multi-point games. Tanner Brown scored his fourth of the season and Drew Sim made 44 saves for his 19th victory of the campaign. The final shots were 49-37 for the Hitmen. Regina finished 0-6 on the power play and 2-3 on the penalty kill.

Meanwhile, the Lethbridge Hurricanes are coming off a 4-1 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors at the Enmax Centre on Wednesday for their third straight victory.
