
Patrick Jarrett Named the Ron Oatt Shoes Attacker of the Week

Owen Sound Attack captain Patrick Jarrett has been named the Ron Oatt Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week of September 29 â October 5/03.
Friday, October 3 the Attack made the long trip to Plymouth to take on the Whalers. Jarrett assisted on the Attack's only goal of the game in the second period, which was also Kevin Baker's first OHL goal. Despite a great effort for the second and third period, the Attack came up short in a 2-1 loss. For his effort, Jarrett was named Third Star of the Game.
Saturday, October 4 the Attack hosted the Sarnia Sting at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Jarrett scored Owen Sound's first goal of the game, and assisted on the other 2 Attack goals. Once again the Attack came up just short with a 4-3 loss. Patrick Jarrett was named First Star of the Game.
He currently leads Attack team scoring with 10 points. He is currently tied for 7th in OHL Scoring. He is tied for 5th in OHL Assists. He is tied for 3rd in OHL Power Play Assists. He is currently on a 7 game point scoring streak with 2 goals and 8 assists. Tied for the longest in the OHL so far this season.
He will receive his award at the next Owen Sound Attack home game on Saturday, October 11 at 7:30pm against the London Knights. There will be a special tribute display and opening ceremony in the memory of Dan Snyder. Attack Director of Marketing Dave Middleton says "Dan meant a lot to everyone in this community, hockey fans or otherwise. This will be a game that gives everyone the chance to show it."
