North Bay Battalion News Release
The Brampton Battalion moved into sole possession of first place in the Central Division and tied the Oshawa Generals for first overall in the OHL's Eastern Conference after capturing a pair of weekend road games at Sarnia and Toronto.
The Troops won their third consecutive game with a 3-1 win at Toronto on Saturday after earning a 2-1 win at Sarnia on Friday. The victories also enabled the Battalion to keep a perfect road record of three wins in as many starts and the Troops will travel to Barrie on Thursday looking to tie the club record of four consecutive road victories. The record was set last February when the Battalion won four consecutive road contests.
The game at Barrie can be seen on Rogers Community Television in the Brampton market starting at 7:30 on Thursday with audio simulcast on battalionhockey.com. The Troops will travel to Mississauga on Friday night before returning to the Bunker on Thanksgiving Monday at 2:00 to host Toronto.
