"Last evening, the Owen Sound community lost a storied member of our extended hockey family. The Owen Sound Attack, wish to send its most sincere condolences to the Snyder family in this most difficult time. Dan Snyder spent four of his twenty-five years entertaining local hockey fans and embracing a community both on and off the ice. Our current edition of the Attack, would like to dedicate the 2003-2004 Ontario Hockey League season in the memory of the greatest captain in the history of our franchise."
