Patrick Dwyer Reassigned To Albany

RALEIGH, NC-Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has reassigned forward Patrick Dwyer to Albany of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Dwyer, 26, has averaged 10:53 of ice time per game in six games with the Hurricanes this season, and has one goal in 19 career NHL games with Carolina. Prior to his recall, the Spokane, WA, native led Albany in goals (9) and was second among River Rats skaters in scoring (15 points).
