TULSA, OKLAHOMA - Infielder Gary Patchett has left the Arkansas Travelers after the Los Angeles Angels promoted him to the triple-A Salt Lake Bees this morning. Patchett played in only two games for the Travelers and heads to Salt Lake to replace Luis Figueroa who broke his left fibula on Tuesday. Nolan Brannon is joining the Travelers in Tulsa from extended spring training to finish a four-game series.

The 31-year old Patchett re-signed with the Angels in March after spending the last two seasons as the utility infielder in Salt Lake. A chronic left knee injury kept him from playing until Monday, and Patchett contributed two runs scored plus two walks and a single in two games.

Brannon, 23, has played in just four games in the minors at rookie-level Tempe in 2009 after being signed by the Angels as a free agent. The St. Petersburg, Florida native played college ball at the University of Tampa.

Winners in four of five games, the Travs attempt to pull off a series win in the final this evening at Drillers Stadium in Tulsa. Right hander Trevor Bell (2-0, 1.59) takes the mound tonight against Tulsa righty Chaz Roe (1-0, 1.29).
