Princeton, W. Va. - Vinnie Pasquantino gave his Royals a late boost with a home run that sealed a 3-1 victory over the Rays.

With one out in the top of the fourth, Logan Porter hit a single to left that brought home Jake Means and put Burlington in front 1-0.

However, Princeton responded quickly. With two outs in the bottom of the fourth, Diego Infante ripped a triple that plated Luis Leon and evened the score at one apiece.

Then, in the top of the sixth, Pasquantino torched a ball to center for his eighth home run of the season. With Means already on base, that put the Royals ahead 3-1.

Burlington starter Adrian Alcantara kept Princeton at bay with five innings of one-run ball, earning his second win of the season while surrendering just two hits and striking out three. Elliott Anderson finished off the Rays in the ninth to pick up his third save. On the other side, Princeton relief arm Ryan Allain took his second loss of the year for surrendering Pasquantino's homer in the sixth.

The two teams square off in a rubber match tomorrow. First pitch at Hunnicutt Field it scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
