Partial Closure of 5th Avenue North to Impact Traffic To/From Sounds Games Through Monday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - 5th Avenue North between Harrison Street and Junior Gilliam Way will be closed to through traffic while Metro Water Services replaces a segment of sewer line. The emergency repair is due to a collapsed 18" sewer line under 5th Avenue North.

During the closure, parking lots on 5th Avenue North between Harrison Street and Junior Gilliam Way will need to be accessed from 6th Avenue North.

This closure will occur during a week of home games at First Tennessee Park, further affecting traffic in the area. Please note:

Suite owners utilizing parking lots on 5th Avenue North between Harrison Street and Junior Gilliam Way will need to access these lots from 6th Avenue North.

Uber and Lyft drivers will need to utilize the 3rd Avenue North loading zone.

Sidewalks will remain open and all entrances to First Tennessee Park will be open and accessible.

The closure on 5th Avenue North will be extended to Jefferson Street ninety (90) minutes prior to home games at First Tennessee Park. Therefore, 5th Avenue North will be closed from Harrison Street to Jefferson Street the following days/times:

Thursday, 4/12 5:00 pm

Friday, 4/13 5:00 pm

Saturday, 4/14 5:00 pm

Sunday, 4/15 12:30 pm

Monday, 4/16 10:30 am

Sewer service to customers will not be affected and Metro Water Services will complete repairs as quickly as possible.
