Albuquerque Isotopes News Release

The 51s bats continued to stay hot as Las Vegas took Thursday afternoon's series finale from the Isotopes (5-3) by a score of 10-3. Despite the loss, Albuquerque still came away with a 2-1 series victory and have won both series they have played so far in 2018.

Isotopes starter Harrison Musgrave took the loss on the afternoon, allowing four runs (two earned) over his 4.0 innings on the hill. It was the southpaw's second outing of the season, having pitched just 1.0 inning in his first start due to a rain delay in Salt Lake on April 7.

After producing 17 runs on Wednesday night, the Isotopes bats were quiet during Thursday's matinee. Josh Fuentes, Jan Vazquez and Anthony Phillips each knocked home a run for Albuquerque during the contest.

The Isotopes will welcome the Salt Lake Bees to town on Friday for a four-game set at Isotopes Park. Lefty Sam Howard will get the nod for the Isotopes in the series opener. First pitch from Isotopes Park is set for 6:35 p.m.
